How to use the KEYWORD SUGGESTIONS
feature
- Keyword Ninja's keyword suggestions feature
is the best tool for finding long tail keywords for any niche.
The primary benefit is that you will be finding keywords that
people are actually searching for in Google.com, Yahoo.com,
Amazon.com and YouTube.com. The fact that users are searching
for these keywords validates their implied interest.
- The first thing you should do on the "Keyword
Suggestions" tab is enter a base keyword(s) in the text
box, select the search engine(s) you are interested
in and click the "Submit" button. The script will
begin to query for the keyword suggestions based on your base keyword(s) and
every alphanumeric derivative. For example, if you entered "dog
training", the script will find all keywords whose next word
starts with the letter "A" and then "B" and so forth including
0-9. If you choose the "2nd Level" option (Google only) the
script will also extract the next level of keyword variations
(i.e. keyword+aa, keyword +ab, keyword +ac, etc.)
- It will take only a few seconds for most
queries to complete.
- Entering a long list of
base keywords or choosing the
2nd level option will take the query longer to complete.
- The "Domain" option for Google allows you
to gather keywords from different country versions of Google
like
Google.co.jp or Google.de. Just enter the letters of
the country domain and it will be saved for future searches.
- Duplicates keywords are automatically removed
from results with the
order of priority from highest to lowest being Google, Yahoo,
Amazon and then YouTube.
- In order to get the best performance as well
as results, try not to use keyword phrases with more than two
words or more than 10 individual keyword phrases at once.
- To get the most relevant long tail keywords,
enter variations of the base keyword for your targeted niche.
For example, if you are targeting "dog training" also try
"training dogs", "dog trainer", "dogs trainer" (without the
quotes)
- A status graphic will appear while the script
is running. Once the query is complete the number of keywords
found will display as well as a "results.csv" link, giving you
the option to either open the results by clicking or to right
click and save the file to your computer.
